Kittenface, it's a good thing I don't live near you, otherwise I would come over and get myself one or two of the red kittens :hearts:

I read the whole story and what a tale it is. 10 babies ? ! ? Oh my, never heard of such a big litter before. Poor Mama Saffie, no wonder she is tired and worn out.
But what a lucky cat she is to have you as her friend and caretaker. You're a true angel. :cloudnine:

Oh no! I just finishing voting for Jack again, but now it's showing that he's in 2nd place. I don't understand this at all 'cause while the new #1 kitty has the same rating (2.7) as Jack, Jack has 1087 votes vs. only 35 votes for the other kitty.

The way I understand it is that the goal is to receive the highest percentage of #5s as possible. So, if the 2nd (3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th) place kitty receives a vote of #1, it might lower their rating. . . , I'm just saying . . . . you should do what you are comfortable with, if ya know what I mean.

HI EVERYONE! WOW!

Yes, we have slipped to #2. I think possibly other contestants are voting #1 ("Stinky") to cause the rating to slip because for 2 days the rating was 3.0 and now it's 2.7. Two people have also posted that the photo is fake
(DEF caught one of the comments and stuck up for me :beathrt:

Oddly enough, the 2nd picture of Jack has risen to 7 and 8th place. (It's title is Mr. Jack.)

What matters most to me is having all of you in my life, sharing the same passions as I do. You all are the BEST.

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for all the support! I was in Portland OR at a convention and just returned. The days were long and I couldn't check the internet on Friday night or all day Saturday. I am so behind!

I saw two osprey; in nests!! And two adult Rough-legged (Dark Morph) Hawks with 2 juvies soaring low over our heads!! They have a wing span of over 50"- WOW!! Also saw a Western Scrub Jay, which I have never seen in Seattle. I know this isn't the place to post this but...

Anyway, glad to be back. Hope all of you and kitties are well!

Sounds like you had a great trip, Mick, with lots of wonderful sightings. I've been "stuffing" Jack's boxes with votes and defending you as well -- multiple times a day. It has become a game for me. :wink:
