Ah geez, still 3 eggs and all scattered. Durand still sitting on Scout's cam at this hour. I should start another poll: Will any of the eggs hatch? yes or no. :egg16:

Edit: She must have flown while I was typing. Don't see her now.

Seriously, how many of you have leaned forward and to the left to try and see if there is a 4th egg just out of cam view on the right?

I wish the cam was on a pivotal head so that we could move it around

I was watching when she landed, echupping. She scraped around all over the place, then rolled #2 with her beak down the "hill" into the bowl.

Yup....she's still looking around right outside the box...

position of the eggs before the egg "move" toward the door..

I will PAY someone to go out there, dig a really DEEP scrape (with unscrapable sides) and put the eggs in it!!! :egg7:

Here's MY $64,000 question..

How long can unincubated eggs remain viable (if they were viable to begin with) before they are no longer "good"... :egg16: (I'm sure temp will have something to do with it..)

Yeah, been wondering myself. I don't think these eggs have had even one minute of warmth since they were laid.

Maybe they have had too much warmth ? ! They have not been covered when the sun is shining on them. Overheating can do more damage I think.
Also the fact that they hardly get rolled over doesn't make me optimistic about the viability. :egg15: The fact that the male is not at all tending to them either is another negative factor.

Good point, DEF...I guess this just may be a learning year for the both of them...and for us...but, I'm still rooting them on...

If there is gonna be egg #4...I'm guessing late today or we'll wake up to it...if her instincts kick in, then maybe eggs #3 and #4 will have a shot...

Off topic...I've also got the Axel cam open....that baby in the egg is soooooooooo loud...and the pip is soooooooooooo small....its amazing...

And if you can catch mom off that egg, you can see movement thru that little pip!
