Raining & storming in Rochester this morning. They're saying on Chat this morning that another juvie hit the wall yesterday, but apparently is OK. Can't find anything about it on FB.

It was Mercury.. he loves to knock Beauty off wherever she's perched. He did it the other night to Tesh on Mercury (the statue) when we were on watch! He's a little DC--flies fast and is all over the place! We couldn't keep up with all the action that night!

Guess its all part of their play. Seems like most juvies like to do that when they gain some flying confidence--some more than others! :flirty:

Right now both girls are at the nest. They had both been inside eating. Sounds like both boys are on the building. Beauty was on Cam 1, but she has been trying to get into the nestbox. Maybe there are leftovers there that she wants to get for the boys. Nettie has been chasing her away when she gets too close to the nestbox, so she's probably protecting "her" food! :egg21:

This is the Frontier Communication Tower and this is where Beauty and DC take all their juvies to learn to stoop, hunt and practice, practice, practice. It is a wide open area, great for the kids and for us because we can still watch them. The only problem is they can hide so well in all that steel and sometimes it's very hard to spot them. Watchers are used to it and they usually can find them. Good luck little juvies as you learn how to become independent from your parents!

Indeed good news. Nor'easter took off I think Sunday morning and has been wearing himself out each day flying. Only seeing the juvies come back to nestbox area evenings now. All has been well with everyone so far.
