BABY, BIG GIRL WENT OUT IN THE YARD, LOOKED ACROSS THE WAY AND FUSSED A LITTLE. NOW SHE IS STANDING IN HER CORNER. SHE DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO ADJUST TO 1 SIBLING BEING GONE ... AND BAM ... THEY ARE BOTH GONE ... AND SHE IS ALL ALONE ... :egg15:

Just got off the phone with Liz...so, here's the scoop..

Our first fledge, now named Ace, is male (we guessed that)...On his first flight attempt after fledge, he ended up in a tree. The resident Robins were not happy and mobbed him to the point he went to ground...Bob scooped him up, banded him and dubbed him "Ace"...he has since been placed up on the "Beehive"..see second pic

Fledge #2 attempted flight..and is now on lower ledge (about 15 feet off the ground) and is causing quite the stir. Mom has been tempting her to fly with food..so far, she (or he) hasn't been fed.

I'M CELEBRATING THAT ACE HAD A GOOD FLIGHT FROM BEEHIVE TO EAST WING OF JSMB AWHILE AGO AS REPORTED PER LIZZY ON TWITTER!!! SHE ALSO IS REPORTING THAT HUNTER REMAINS ON LOWER LEDGE. AND WE ALREADY KNOW SKYE AND ACE GOT SOMETHING TO EAT EARLIER. BUT, I DON'T SEE ANYTHING OF HUNTER BEING FED.

swinwk...thank you sooooooooooooo much for keeping up with all the goings on!!! 3rd trip to the beehive? That little devil!!. Very Happy that Hunter has stayed where "she" was...and thankfully, Skye is still in the box..flapping up a storm..looking at all "her" fluff..she really needs to stay where she is for several more days...sure hope she does...

Nice music right now...Hope Skye is enjoying it..LOL...sounds like "Chattanooga Choo Choo"

HUNTER FLEW OFF LEDGE AND WAS RESCUED AND BANDED @ 8PM. SHE IS A SHE AND MUST BE SPENDING THE NIGHT WITH SOME LUCKY SOLE AS SHE WILL BE RELEASED IN THE MORNING. SEE PIC ON TWITTER! JUST SAW WAS POSTED A LITTLE OVER AN HOUR AGO.
