Tuned in to find both boys sitting by the stick preening. Raining here a little bit.

I was watching them also, Heida. They both took off a few minutes ago.

Tuned in a bit ago to find Red preening on the point. Looks like he may have had breakfast there. Got the impression he went right around the corner to the window sill about a minute ago.

Am seeing a very warm juvie sort of out on the stick right now. Looks like White, but not completely sure. Looks like some thunderstorms are headed in our direction within the next hour or so. And it was White. He left about five minutes ago. Little Dad is now on the stick, and it has started to sprinkle.

I don't know how to share it, but there is an update about Blue on the Falcon Wire section of the DEP web site. He is still at the Red Creek Wildlife Center being well cared for.

Here it is:

    6/22

Today, the rehabilitator provided an update on "Blue", the young falcon that has yet to fledge. An X-ray was done and indicated that this bird's liver is underdeveloped. This may be the reason why it was so far behind in developing its flight feathers. At this point, releasing this young falcon at the Rachel Carson State Office Building is highly unlikely. Actually, there's no guarantee "Blue" will survive in captivity. Treatment with antibiotics is progressing well but only time and close monitoring will tell. "Blue" is scheduled for another X-ray in two months. If the liver issue stabilizes, then consideration will be given to "Blue's" future.

I've not seen a juvie via the cam all day, but haven't been watching constantly. Some nasty storms are heading in our direction.

Looks like White on the ledge clutching what may be a whole Tree Swallow. Niecey is on the stick watching. White is doing a lot of screaming. And upon further watching, the prey wasn't a whole bird, but it was White. He picked it pretty clean, and then Red flew in to watch for a while. Red also picked at the prey, but there wasn't much left.

Thanks for posting your pictures, Loza. That was White at first, later joined by Red, who then went to the stick and shield. I was downtown for about an hour and a half tonight. Saw both juvies on the ledge at first. One then went to the top of 333 Market and the other was on the roof of the Carson Building. Little Dad was on the glass cubby above the nest ledge for quite some time, and then on the point. Somewhere around 8:15 one of the juvies came to roost on the 22nd floor louver ledge behind 333. I don't know where the other juvie or Little Dad got to, but wanted to leave before dark. Never did see Niecey.

White has been on the ledge between the column and stick for quite some time. Some screaming, but mostly very quiet.

Thanks for those pictures, Loza. Glad you spotted Niecey. This is the second morning in a row that I've found Little Dad standing in the scrape. He was preening when I first tuned in. Now just standing there.

Niecey was outside the scrape a bit ago doing some housekeeping. She's now in the scrape incubating the gravel.

Tuned in to find Lil Dad JR sitting on the point. Not sure which one, but he looks like Lil Dad sitting there. I think that every time I see them sitting there like that. :loveheart:

That was White, Heida. It took me a while to figure that out. A couple minutes ago he was picking at a scrap, and then flew off. I think he went to the back part of the U Building.
