now we have the names we just have to figure which is which

Local peregrine falcon expert Greg Septon banded the four chicks earlier this week.

April, a female, was named to recognize the month that Earth Day is celebrated each year.
Nelson, a male, is named for the Earth Day founder Gaylord Nelson, who served as governor of Wisconsin and as a U.S. senator.
Terra, a female, is named for a word that means earth or land in a variety of languages.
Verde, a male, is named for a word that translates to green in a variety of languages. It represents the color often found in nature.

:flirty: Cute picture, Terka- I just checked their cam and wondered why I was only seeing 3 babies. Then I catch sight of Crazy Boy, running and flapping his wings like crazydown on the nest box floor. Going to have to watch that one....MADISON

:loveheart: MADISON Gas- the fearsome foursome are all hanging out on the ledge. They have lost a lot of their down. A parent flew up tothe perch and they were all sure they were going to get fed. Disappointment- not this time. But I’ll bet the parent will have something next time. Babies are working on their wingercize....
