 Oak Creek has one big chick pile at the moment.....At Valley, we have two active chicks watching mom cleaning house... At Port Washington we have three chicks trying to decide how to get in a huddle. Oh man, one is Really pushing to be the one in the middle. Looks to me like they are expecting a feed soon....Weston, a big pile of snoozing chicks....

 Oak Creek- It appears there is just one juvie left in the nestbox. It still has a lot of fuzz, but just now a parent flew by the nest, then soared out toward the water, then came in and landed on the ledge but pushed off immediately, I assume to entice Junior to take the leap....VALLEY- One juvie wingersizing on the ledge. Parent brought in prey and the juvie grabbed it and ran...PORT WASHINGTON- At least 2 juvies on the ledge, more brown in color, but fuzz on top of their heads. S 55 was doing some wing flapping....WESTON- Two juvies in the corner glaring at the cam... |

 At Port Washington, two chicks standing in the nestbox. A parent comes by, freezes with their wings out and gives 2 big screeches, then continues to loft by..... They really want all their kids to take the plunge! Gave me a good laugh.
