Bob reported on what went on last night. After they left it was much of the same. The young one then parked himself on the outside wrung and pretty well stayed there. Mom was on Maz and Chase was on CP. The youngster did not get a feed last night. I think the adults wanted him to be good and hungry so he would fly today.
Well guess what. After a rain soaked night in which the youngster seemed to stay outside during the downpour (and I mean downpour, just look at the news from Edmonton and see the flooded freeways), Bev went down there this morning and Radison flew by with food and onto the Maz. The youngster, who is still dripping wet, took off and just about made it to the top of Maz, but couldn't hang on and slid down to the second level. There he stayed on the roof for about and hour before Radison finally brought him some food. I hope he stays there for awhile and dries off as it must be hard for him to fly soaking wet.
So we have our two youngsters, Weber and U of A, both flying within a day of each other. This is going to be a busy week or two. Hopefully all goes well and we don't have to do any more rescues.
By the way, I am getting old and do forget things. A very important thing is mentioning all the volunteers that are helping us at the site. I apologize if I don't mention you all in my reports, but as you all know, I am old and forgetful. Not an excuse but I do thank you all and you all deserve recognition

for the work that you do.
Bev is still down at the site and will call in if there are further developments. Will also try and get to the Weber later today. My boss has been pretty good about me disappearing but I don't know how long that will last, or how much he will put up with.
Cheers for Now
