Well, I'm glad I got pics...the little munchkin has fallen off the ledge..according to their FB page.

"This happens every year..."

There are ledges underneath...and I think I can actually hear him after the oops moment..(I also think I heard the "thump"...not sure..)

They've been panning, but don't think they have a cam that can look on that side...not sure...

Circle on the left are wings...and the side of the ledge he went off.

I sure hope he's ok...situations like this make me appreciate the Richmond "cage" even more.

I am just heartbroken..I had hopes this little one survived..

Posted on FB about an hour ago: (Google translate)

"Unfortunately we have sad news to announce you, following his fall on the Corniche prison, Ti-Pou fell from the 10th floor and did not survive.

We were worried about his first flight because of his wing feathers still problematic, but we were hopeful that he would pull through because the rest of his feathers looked well developed. Unfortunately, it was too early for his first flight.

For those who thought we could help him in the last few days: no, it was impossible for us to catch him on the pickle without a great risk of a fall as he would have been feared by humans.
We had the pleasure of following him in his adventures for 37 days, and he will forever be in our thoughts for his courage and strength to overcome adversity. Fly high in the falcon's paradise my dear Ti-Pou!

....The remains will be brought to the birds of prey clinic in Ste-Hyacinthe and then we will know more after the necropsy"

:sorrow: :tissue:

My commentary...it was not a flight...it was a slip...as so often can happen with these babies...and while he had a large play area..it was slick...with no grip. :cryinggirl:
