Thanks for the infor DEF. Today                It seems to me that they don't eat enough. I saw a feed at 7ish in the morning and the evening, Of course, it's not a simple thing to catch everything on the DVR, so I probably just missed it. Oh, at the later feeding, I saw one of the chicks eating the shredded paper that they used yesterday in the carrier. They sure seemed hot much of the day. It was in the low 80's there, but if you don't get food regularly that's your source of water too. I always obsess over everything, though. |

                  So, the pictures are totally out of order, and I got tired of trying to fix it. Didn't see the morning feed. DVR was already past that. Did see one of the chicks leave the box, hang out, then come back in (holding my breath), she later left again, going around the back of the box and coming back in on the other side (holding my breath again) They were really hot and it seemed they were hungry I thought. The cam showed prey on a lower level, and I was like, why not get that to feed them. Later, I believe that it was Dad that got it and attempted to feed the chicks, (after coming in to check on them) but it was hectic. He ended up leaving it to them. It was pretty small. Mom later brought in a nice size prey to feed them before bedtime. They had all they wanted. They high was around 87.8F. |

  Yep, went around the corner exploring.           Look at the cross shining, is that the reflection of the sunset? Magical. I scrolled back to get most of the pictures. I did see a semi-feeding. Chicks were screaming, parent arrives on the ledge and runs between the right side of the nest box and the small column structure and retrieved prey from back there somewhere and fed the chicks. Didn't get any pictures, as they ate out of sight. |

 In the rain.    Breakfast         Chicks appear to be playing in the puddle and drinking the water. I also saw one on the chicks bend to walk under whatever that line is. Power ? Hope not.

Chicks are hanging out, out of view lately.        Parent chased off, then lots of flapping going on. While she was flapping, I thought I saw somebody fly from or by the ledge on the other side out of view, but never could pinpoint it on the dvr, so it was most likely just part of the furious flapping.  And looks like a fan down there, maybe.

 This shot is from a video posted on YouTube yesterday. Poor babies. I think that one on the lower level might have been there for a few days. Trying to interpret the chat earlier this week. |
