BRANDON---------->Cam Links: -or- Pop-Up:

Nest Location: On the side of the McKenzie Seeds building in downtown Brandon.

Hurricane (female) hatched 2007 on the Radisson Hotel in Wpg - Bands: Black 23/Y (R)
Brooklyn (male) hatched 2007 on the McKenzie building in Brandon - Bands: Black 21/Y (R)

TPC's description for telling the two apart:
Easiest way to tell other than size, is that he has clear margins on this malar stripe on the left side in particular than Hurricane - hers is blurry for want of a better description. He is also much whiter on the breast - startlingly so at times - no markings at all on his upper breast.

Brooklyn was back on the same day last year too! Hurricane was two days later so I'll be keeping watch. :smilehat:

Hurricane at the nest box and Brooklyn on the tower across the street. Hurricane has been hanging out at the nest box a fair bit this week.

I think our pair here are incubating eggs. Since Friday, May 1st I have been seeing one falcon at a time. This morning my mother saw Brooklyn leave the box and immediately after that Hurricane went in the box....same thing after my work today. I will let TPC know from the Manitoba Forum and she will then tell Manitoba Conservation who will go up and look through their little window where the cam had been and find out how many eggs.

I really don't know if there will be a camera. As far as I know there is no Internet connection. The service provider that was there had been sold. Also the building is vacant and in the process of being renovated.

TPC from the Manitoba Forum just emailed me. There are three hatches for Brooklyn and Hurricane.
Thanks to conservation for going up and looking.
