2 kids sleeping in box tonight. one is female , she is limping but made it from platform to box.
started day with kid form night july25, flying out

#3 came out of nowhere, freaked mom out with his awkward landing and sent her on her way.

Few minutes later. Parent must be out of cam view as two just stood there staring and screaming..

Female is still favoring her right foot/leg, but is weight bearing..she is currently chilling in the box.

Later, she was back at the box with all three, when I noticed she was looking at something and at first I thought another chick was landing, but she took off and I saw a shadow go by, maybe it was dad bring in more prey.

Didn't see all four but haven't checked in a while, although one was putting on a show on top of the box earlier, the picture is on a different computer, will post later.

One on the top of the nest box. I really didn't do him justice. He paraded back and forth for quite a while and I only took one picture evidently.

Looks like 3 for the night.
I hope they are seeing all four babies out there.

We need colored tape here too.

Great pics, Ljames!!

The 3 woke up, stretched and preened for a bit...then commenced to screaming...and just like that, gone in a flash..virtually all at the same time. Parent must have been dangling breakfast as he/she flew by!!

I haven't tried to read bands so don't know if we are seeing the same 3.

young female will be fine. I saw her land late night and she came in form left with a real thud, once she gets landings down. , it will take pressure off that foot.

I am so sorry, I do have lots of pictures and videos and I just do not get here to put in.
Peter and I are going out there today or tomorrow.
hopefully we se all 4.

august 1.

its coming. we have been so busy with all these nests.
3 in for night last night. YOung female leg is so much better. she came in a lot better last night.

We were out there yesterday for 3 hours, had at least 3 in sight. they were flying and playing tag. young female flies very well . they al do. I cannot say for sure if there is still a 4th. but you never know. one may be more independent. there is always 1. I did see 4 once in air but I only had one adult in view so do not know if a kid or an adult but we definitely had 3.

I know I keep saying will post picutres so please be sapient. I am trying to fit in my private life also LOl

we had some severe storms last evening. YOu can see the lightening

the one on roof never made it to box. too windy and so I watched it jump to the rod to left of box up top and then eventually fly down on platform an d go to left. Best place for it

we will start to see them less and less at box at night but they will visit.

9:59. heard kid and female just flew down from up top

we have not downloaded camera from july31, but will do so after grandson leaves. our picutres are small when we go out there as we have to view from so far away. but I try and show you where they fly and perch .

I cannot get the cam for Genesee using the links on the first page of this thread. I can get the cam using the 2 links Carolyn provided on page 17.
