Time skygirlblue? What's that? Can I order some of that online?

Thanks for posting the links :loveshow:
Here's the run down; a Canada geese pair claimed the nest box built after the windstorm damaged the hawk's nest. The hawk's rejected the box and built in a tree, I think I read 150 yards away. Canada geese lay their eggs, cover them and don't start incubation until all are laid.

There is a great horned owl nest in a hole in the same tree under the box. As she was laying the 4th egg the GHO chased her off the nest (see video which I recorded from RRP archives.) leaving the 3 eggs uncovered.
Mama goose didn't return for two days but came back yesterday and laid her 4th egg.

Thanks Mick. . .well, this story just gets crazier and crazier. . guess the Hawks were the smart ones. . I hate to say this, but those babies are gonna be easy pickins' for that owl .. I hope mama and papa goose are very vigilant. .of course, they're pretty fierce themselves!!!

The Canada goose started her incubation tonight. 3 hours later she was attacked by the resident GHO.

She continues to be threatened tonight.

The GHO has struck her but she doesn't back down.
