In the amazing - and good - category....

Check out these pictures that Thomas from the Maine forum took while visiting the Milford site - it looks as if they had the neighbors over!



A bit of info/history for those who don't regularly follow the nest - there are four fledglings this year. The adults are known on the Maine forum as Captain Kidd and Lola, and there is a bit of a pirate theme to the nest. Bonnie is the name we gave to one of the chicks a couple of years ago; she's of an age when she might be returning after the 2-3 years young osprey spend in South/Central America while they mature, and there was a young-looking adult in the area who was more tolerated than usual by Kidd and Lola. And finally - Kidd and Lola are generally very territorial - no one comes near their nest!
