It would be awesome and a true miracle if the Lady would return to her nest site once more. Just the thought brings tears to my eyes already.

There is a buzz on various blogs that Lady has returned :egg5:

I watched until night fell as the osprey that stood ( on the left side of the nest) was enjoying its dinner.
I am not good at identifying Lady (Marge)...could someone give me a clue as to what to look for besides her band...like markings, etc.

Thanks!

It is 959am (HST) and I am off to work. Have a great day (or evening) wherever you all are!!! :egg8:

It is confirmed that the osprey on the nest is LADY :loveshow: I happened to be watching the osprey in the nest when Cam2 zoomed in/out on the osprey. I had a feeling they were trying to identify the O...yep, they did and it resulted in this post on the Loch of the Lowes Blog:

Osprey update – 28th March 2011, 9:50am

Hi all,

I am delighted to tell you that after detailed inspection of close-up images of the bird’s iris via the HD camera, we are able to confirm that the bird currently on the nest is indeed ‘Lady’.

All the staff and volunteers here at Loch of the Lowes are overjoyed at her return and we look forward to bringing you news of her progress throughout the season.

We now eagerly await the return of her partner.

J

I'm so glad to hear that Lady is back, but dismayed to hear that other ospreys are around that seem to want to take over her nest. My fingers are crossed for Lady.

I'm not posting anything from this site. The warning includes everything, not just pics. I will post, in my own words, observations, if they are important. This is an unfortunate choice SWT has made, but, their choice. What's allowed to be posted on the BCAW forum is up to the administrators.

SWT has survey on the left side of the cam, with a comment option at the end....I did the survey...and commented!!

Lady, is a great osprey!! As many of you know, I never name ospreys and rarely refer to cam ospreys by their given names. Lady is the exception

Looks like Lady has been MIA for quite a while, Jazzel.

Any updates as to her whereabouts? :egg16:
