SGB, thanks for the new topic  This is a beautiful cam, with sound. The nest was followed last season by a lot of people. I'll add it to the nesting calendar.

Kitten, thanks for getting a link that works for everyone
Do you have any information on egg dates?

I hate that it shuts down after a few minutes, makes recording a pain.

Looks like a hatch. The rain on the cam makes it hard to see, but looks like a chick under the female

Kitten, I got home from work put three cams on record...just as I hit record I saw the Creston chick in my first video. After I uploaded it and posted I started recording again. I couldn't believe my eyes...the male came in with a fish...and the female took off with it....the chick is still 1/2 in the shell and it's raining. I hope the male is behind the rain drop on the cam, guarding the chick...this is not a good start

Kitten, I've been recording the nest for about 10 days, not for a hatch, but to get good recordings of the female's breathing, it looks very labored, on front views and top views. She also sneezes and coughs. I remember this was a issue last season. I'm going to send the breathing videos and information to Allen Poole at Cornell Lab, he always helps. I'm also sending the information to Rob. The problem is both are banding and tagging ospreys this time of year. Allen, may still be in Ithaca at Cornell, the nests he bands here, in Westport, Ma, are still to young for banding.

Has anyone, you know, watching the cam commented on the labored breathing?
