KITTEN, do you have the video time? I have no recordings after 11:30 am..

The only way I got videos semi clear was to re-record them at 4X before uploading to YouTube.

Maybe you could edit your video..to a faster...whatever.

Anyway, what's important is, you documented not seeing a second chick 2/2/12, 12:30 am :superstar:

One of the chicks is on the edge of the nest ready to fall out :nervous:

I called them, they know about it, but say there's nothing they can do :furious:

OH dear. . .I just went and watched the cam for a few minutes. . I couldn't see a thing. The yellow boxed area is the only place that I saw the faintest of movement. . .but it could have been a leaf or something. . Does mom sense that this chick is unhealthy? I've seen parents pull chicks back into the nest after very close calls. .. I wonder why she didn't do that?

I do hope the little one is back under mom.

I called also Patti I have got videos and I see from over at Maine forum that they said that audobon was there I did see some guys down around the nest but wasn't sure if it was because of this or not I had to stop watching and then it got dark there but I did see that it was still in the same place and moving around
I won't be able to watch tomorrow it will just break me down to much so I'll have to just read and if nothing else I'll call again just let me know Jazzel or Patti

No it's not SGB ... where you have the box ... that is exactly where the chick is. That's what you see moving. That's where it's been all day. I took these this afternoon.

I'm sorry, but it is way too early in the season for there to already be a potential tragedy. The nest is too difficult to get to or just a hands off mentality?
