This is a email I got from Bob about the raccoons in the eagle nest last night plus information on VALMONTJanice, New cameras were installed and we are switching to new video encoders. All cams should be up and running soon.
At the Valmont Great Horned Owl nest we have a defective cable that is being replaced. Weather permitting. Regarding the Raccoons, I don't think they would approach the nest if the adults were on eggs. The only raccoon predation event that I heard of re; raccoon and eaglets was a nest in VA were the eaglets were too old to be brooded and were not protected. I sent your captured image to the plant and we'll look into raccoon repellent or, live traps. Many thanks... Bob Anderson

God, she is gorgeous. It is so good to see her. Fingers crossed, and more prayers than I choose to count, that the cams will be up and running soon.

Oh Beth, so was I. Unf. only the Little Birdie site seems to have semi-current pictures. Kittenface is getting them from somewhere - as long as she keeps posting them, I'm happy. Snowflake looks wonderful. I wonder if there are any eggs yet?

She is getting them from littlebirdie Dot (I think)

What I did to get pics is just right-click on the cam-pic and save as...
Then got to photobucket and post.

I looked around all evening and couldn't find a link and even went to you guys
on the raptorresource forum :flirty:

In my humble opinion I don't think Snowflake is in the egg sitting position ...
