Fledged!

The male has fledged! He took strong flight gaining altitude before landing atop the Riverfront Plaza west tower to rest and enjoy a new perspective. Both of the females have left the pen. 02/AD is perched on the ledge and 03/AD is perched atop the camera housing. We will post more updates later today.

I knew they would do well. Thanks Barb. But what are the parents doing? Are they flying with them? Oh I wish I could see. :?

Something I've noticed as far as getting intermittant cam pics, if it says "Done" at the bottom left of the cam screen, it stopped trying. Hit Refresh again until you get "Waiting for..."!

The cam is self-refreshing at the moment, but is still showing the pic I posted before. Maybe they're showing Arnie flying? :?

Well, a message I entered on the forum never went through, so maybe this is a test of the new forum's capacity. Am fully relying on updates from those of you who can get the cam, and from those on the ground down there in the heat. Bless all of you on the ground down there, for I'm very familiar with what you're doing.

The last I saw of the cam you couldn't really figure out what they were showing anyway, so we're probably not missing much. :( The great part is the on-site reporting of what is going on!
