I have no problems with the Karlsruhe cam. I use Irfanview for my screenshots. Realplayer can give some a hard time though.
If you play the webcam in the stand-alone player, you can record it (with RP version 11) but then you can't do anything with that recording but replay it on your own computer . . . :evil:
So what I do is this: I watch it on the website and use ReplayScreencast to record. (That is how I do my Pete's Pond video's )

If the image keeps running after you have taken a screen shot, it might help to adjust something in Realplayer.
Open Realplayer
Go to "TOOLS" ---> "Preferences"
In the left menu choose "Hardware"
At the bottom of the right side window you see "Video Card Compatibility" Drag the slider all the way to the LEFT, to "Most reliable"
Click OK and close the player. Now go the web page and see if it works with screenshots that don't move. :wink:

Thanks Kitten & DEF! I'll try that DEF. I had been having the same problem with WMP, but Reenie told me what to adjust with that. Guess I'll try RP next! :thanku

I don't know but this looks to be a fairly young Falcon
you know not a juvie but maybe just barely old enough but it
sure likes to sit in front of the camera and also it doesn't look like
the one I've been seeing. I really like this camera it is so clear and crisp
