These pictures are from some 10 minutes ago:

Is he/she looking at something flying over there?:

You can see a feather, could it be of something eaten by the peregrine, or just belonging to him/her, or could have come from somewhere else?:

Thanks for the pics, jlroc! That feather could be from one of the residents or from someone's dinner...

Thank jlroc for the pictures. He/she just spending time in the nest and maybe eating a few pebbles. I bet the snow will really hit hard here too. Will have to remember to look tomorrow.

That's wonderful--thanks for letting us know, DEF! Maybe this year we'll be able to get a good look at the tower & can actually tell how many eggs were laid & how many chicks were born. Antilogical is going to be over the moon! :pepper

Woohoo! Thanks for the hot tip! Now that I'm working in "dahntahn" Pittsburgh across from the Gulf building, I keep looking up to see if I can spot our pair.

Mental note to self: must... watch... traffic....

Oh, yes, Antilogical--please be careful, & I understand what you're saying cause I tend to do the same thing when I'm watching our local falcons! I can't wait for nesting season to begin!
