Scout just flew back to the ledge, went into the box, then Handsome flew to the next ledge over. She came out and peeked around the corner then went back in the box.

Hi Maryanne :clapegg:

Pete (Mr. Bev) here. Am doing many times better than a few days ago. Thanks for all your well wishes and good vibes and prayers. They worked.

Bev has me having the cam on my laptop downstairs here so she doesn't have to miss anything while she is babysitting me. I always have to pay that woman in one form or another. :hearts:

Pete

Yes I'm back. Now that I will have a couple of weeks or so to try and get back to normal, whatever that was, I really won't have any choice. My "nurse's" fee is being able to watch her birds without running up and down stairs, so in between me trying to sneak in some work and switching back to the birdcams I will probably be on line for a lot of the time. Looking forward to talking to you all soon.

Mr. Bev

i can sure hear the falcons in the distance . When I said I did not like the sound of the other falcon it was becasue it was sort of a wailing. Scout was really chupping and the other was wailing

Just saw a fly by past the other ledge to the right,
this is making me nervous

Hiko, the tiercel in Oakland wails when he approaches the nest ledge/towers where his mate Haya is incubating. I noticed that a few weeks ago when I was visiting them. He especially did it when she could not see him, and he was approaching from a different side, or was going to perch on the other side of the tower.

I heard the wailing and calling in the distance also. Sometimes, I wonder am I really hearing them, or is it my imagination!

Thanks all for welcoming me back. Didn't know that by getting tied up to a bird lover I could get such support from people who I feel I know but have never met "yet".

Carly: that thing about Bev coming with the tape and banding me, well its to late. She banded me with a gold ring some 38 years ago and I've been paying the price ever since. Just like the falcons--go get the food and try and keep the Mrs. happy--look after the kids--keep the Mrs. happy. Oh well. I'm still here so it can't be too bad.

Beth: The cams may help heal some things but don't forget that I'm on my laptop and I am used to looking at 5 big monitors of computers at my office. I think I may need new glasses after this.

I think the fly-bys we are seeing is cliff-racing, which is part of courtship.

He was doing it a few days ago (maybe it was yesterday for all I know). You could see him in the distance flying in and flying out of camera picture. I think someone may have even posted a video of it?
