Jan, that shot of Little Dad hightailing it out of the scrape is priceless! I had a feeling she might be getting ready for an egg when she didn't let him take over. I guess the BIG SIT will now be underway.

If it gets really hot there this weekend, I really feel sorry for them! I hope they do a lot of changing out!!!

BOY, MOM DID REALLY GOOD FOR BEING 12 YEARS OLD THIS YEAR!

LIL DAD'S ON THE EGGS, HAPPY AS A LARK/FALCON.

FUNNY, A COUPLE PEOPLE DIDN'T SEE THE EGG DROP OUT AND WERE WATCHING THE ENTIRE TIME. ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF IS THAT DEPENDING WHEN YOU TUNE IN, WE GET DIFFERENT VIEWS? WHO KNOWS!

I wonder if like humans when they reach a certain age if Mom will suffer from "Henopause"? She seems to be one heck of an egg producer despite her age however

A good pun! Pale Male and Lola, the famous red tailed hawks in NYC have been "empty nesters" for years--so yes, I guess it does happen...
