They certainly are cuties! It must have been warm in Maine today since they were left uncovered for a while & they didn't seem to mind!

It is 9:10PM EDT and there is an extremely bright light directed into the nest box???? What is this ?????
Have they put an IR light on the nest or is this some bridge light that we have not seen before???
It looks to be very disturbing of the Mama bird's rest.

I just checked this out & I think its a light from a boat. I also heard a siren briefly. Maybe something going on on the bridge?

It is awfully steady to be from a boat. Poor Mama... she needs her rest!!

I left the cam up & just heard another siren. Wonder if a boat hit the bridge or something. I'm thinking that's a Coast Guard boat, cause it doesn't sound like a land siren. I think its sitting there shining its light on the bridge because of some problem.

It appears that they're all sleeping in a pile & I don't even see a parent anywhere! Doesn't seem to be anything amiss here...I'm counting 4 little bodies in the pile.

Oops--there is one out of the box. You can see him in both of these pictures. I'm sure he wants back in the box so he can eat, too!

I don't know if the parent even realizes its not in the box! The parent fed the other kids like nothing was wrong!

If that's mom, she knows how to get it back in the box. I think she sees him now.

As far as I can tell, the chick is still out of the box. I'm only counting 3 in the box. Parent didn't seem at all concerned that he was out. He must be curled up on a corner sleeping.
