Weather alert today and night. Hope they hunker down!

Was in town today for a parts run and saw one of them on a tall corner of a building near the Brandywine Bldg. Was thrilled! Around 10:45 a.m.

Faith - I'm so glad you were able to spot one of the falcons yesterday. Every time I'm in the vicinity, I look up hoping to spot one...but I haven't been successful yet.

CJ made a short visit this morning!

CJ was just on the box ledge and Red Girl was on the ledge three spaces to the right (NW). She has a big prey item with her, probably pigeon, but the only prey feather down below is a primary wing feather of a warbler. Probably an hors d'oeuvre for CJ before he got serious this morning.

THANKS FOR THE REPORT GREG! MAYBE SHE DIDN'T DEFEATHER THAT BIG PREY YET, TOOK TOO MUCH ENERGY TO GET IT UP THERE, HAS TO TAKE A BREATHER :lol:

I'M NOT TOO SURE WHAT THE VICTIM WAS, IT WAS STILL PRETTY DARK WHEN I TOOK THESE. I ZOOMED MY CAMERA WHILE TAKING THE VIDEO, SO THAT'S WHY HE LOOKS MUCH BIGGER. WE CALL HIM LIL DAD BECAUSE HE'S MUCH SMALLER THAN OUR ORIGINAL DAD :-)

Lots of feathers gathering in the nset box. Don't see anyone this morning. Glad the cam is still running.

One was preening in the box a little over an hour ago (7:00 am EDT).

I've had the cam up for the past half hour, but haven't seen anyone in the nest box yet. Of course it's always hit or miss if I catch someone there. :wink:

Pigeon feathers on the sidewalk today.

Yes, we had 1 3/4" of rain yesterday. I don't have to water the vegetable garden for a while.
