Two chicks in the corner. It won't be long and they'll be out of the box. Well I haven't seen them out yet anyway.

Sorry Just haven't had time to post my pictures today, but here was a feeding a few minutes ago. I thought what's wrong with this picture? A parent with food and chicks are standing there like in a trance. It was like they didn't realize it, but when they did they swarmed her.



They are 3 different sizes it seems. I'm pretty sure one girl and one boy, but that middle one is hard to call. It seems to me that the two smaller ones hang out together more, so I'm still thinking 2 boys, but I am often wrong with these things.

An earlier feeding. The one just standing there did eventually eat too. I can't wait to see them come out of the box, but it seems that's usually after banding, which is tomorrow I think.

So many gloomy days here, nice to see them in the sunlight.

They just had more food and are now just sitting back chatting.

They have the camera aimed at the wall, so maybe banding soon.

A feeding before the big event. Fans have gathered on the garage too. I'll watch if I can. I'm not so reliable though, I get nervous.

Oh my word, they are down there just flapping away, full and happy. Boy are they in for a big surprise. The weather is perfect.

Clara I think on the ledge waiting to attack. Yep, she just looked up and flew. They are coming.

Oh my word, she is divebombing him big time.
And even landed on the corner for a minute.

Look at that chick in the box, it hasn't moved.

Well it is done.

I couldn't tell if both parents were there or not, I lost count of all the passes made. Several close calls I thought. I'm pretty sure I got a picture of each chick banded and if not, I have like a 100 more shots.

Actually, this is one easiest bandings to watch. oops, another pass by a parent.

Poor parent keeps landing and taking off, totally stressed out.



And look at those 3 in the corner.

Both parents there. I thought that was a lot of flying for just one bird.





They are still upset . The camera can't even really get a good closeup because they won't stay put long enough. Well they did their job as good parents driving off the mean intruder. Have work to do now, but I sure would have like to seen the chicks more afterwards.

things are getting back to normal, sort of. Parent was in the box feeding them something, when one chick grabbed it. This is the parent in the corner looking for it . Then the babies. Really going now, but hope I don't miss them getting out of the box for the first time.

EC is like, my role was strategic, I held down this end of the ledge.
