KF - I LUV THAT BIG SMILIE - :mmd: - so good to see first thing in my morning!

And thanks for the feedback Bev, on the comparison of size between the Alcoa box & other's you are familiar with - I wonder who advised them as to what dimensions to build it - I hope it was at least a peregrine professional :? I do know that "Barry", an Alcoa scientist, advised me that he was having new boxes installed at a couple of sites.

You know I was just looking at the dimensions of that box & it looks as though they have made it only as deep as the actual ledge that it is perched on - whereas the floor of the former box stuck out beyond the ledge - so I guess they were thinking to make the nest area only as big as the ledge which was, afterall, where Sheila & Maverick first chose to make their own nest all those years ago in 2003 - but their own nests failed so they then installed the first box in 2004.

And Havoc has been Sheila's partner since 2005 raising 9 fledglings prior to this year's nest
