When Peter and I were there a few weeks ago there were 3 and one was chased off.

but hat could be. It is so hard to tell.

We will have to keep eyes peeled. I am waiting my info on transmitter male.

I thin these 2 are the two we have been seeing regularly, but ....

The PTT Genesee male crossed from South Dakota to NE Wyoming on May 10 so with just Montana to go he is likely in Alberta now or will shortly so.

So now we will have to wait and watch.

If I have time I will go out there on Sunday

Well, we will probably not see what happens. And will only know if someone new turns up at box.
but I do not see these 2 doing anything with box. I am baffled by them, unless there is still another falcon, female or male, there.
this one could try for all the other sites if he is defeated here. I do believe he will head right for Genesse . that was his site last year. And unfortunately , his disadvantage will be he will be tired from his journey.

I am no biologist but I do believe with every fiber in my body, that the transmitters are screwing with their honing system

Thanks for the pictures of the transmitter male. Poor guy, must be exhausted. I agree that the contraption on his back must surely slow him down. How could it not? When you are a flying machine, anything extra is going to drag wind. But, I don't want to be critical as I am not a biologist and the information they gain from the transmissions must be helpful to them in some way . . . ? :roll:
