First und second egg hatched this afternoon around 1600 p.m local time! :egghatch:
At 18.35 pm. first feeding. I was a bit nervous, because today is day 34 of breeding, usually our European falcons hatch with the 32nd day.

Third chick hatched this morning 9.00 local time (look on webpage "Bildergalerie" -" Bilder von Besuchern 2010"): There is a nice photo from a "classic" warming-pyramid of the three! :-)
We do not see in the moment the 4th egg or a fourth juv. , but we all know how they manage to hide behind each other to make us look and fear mishaps... :?

Fourth juve hatched at 17.45 pm local time and I was lucky standing beside the nesting-box watching during a feed of the three! The still-wet/damp fourth juve lying at the feet of the others was still too weak to lift the head. I think it will get its first meal tomorrow morning...

Thank you for all your friendly congratulations! Seems to be a good falcon- year in our area. There is another clutch of four in nearby Mannheim (no Webcam) on Concordia-Church - distance to us 15 km.
(And my daughter Anna-Livia is back. :cloudnine: )

After the first picture, chicks were alone for quite a while, but parent outside, then something happened to the outside cam. One was a bit active and annoying another one. :lol:

Then parent came back in with Huge prey. Looked like they were having a hard time dragging it in actually. Picture didn't turn out. Then feeding.

Thank you for the nice snapshots! Now here is LIFE in the nestbox: Just one week old the four chicks have doubled weight and size! In the moment - 1700 pm local time - I think they get their 7th meal today!
