Well , this is a mystery . I kept my cam on till I left yesterday and no one. then I go and they turn up.

Like I said befroe. I am not going to worry yet as we do not know if this is something that happens at this time of year. remeber there will be lots of peregrines flying around.

and PrU said they do not migrate but they certainly could off the site for a bit. And others from nearby could be wandering through.

This to me looks like a young female because of the speckles still at the collar and the breast still appears to have some brown in it(not flecks but not quite white)

Thanks for all thepictures and words of wisdom :waveht: :waveht:

Yes, she does appear to be a youngish female & that reminds me of something we learnt whilst watching the Brisbane Frieda & Frodo nest (so long ago now :( ) that juveniles DO wander a really LONG way in their search for new territory - hundreds of miles - so they are the big movers & shakers :P in Australia.

I did a double-take when I first saw that picture, Pearl1, cause I thought there were 2 birds there, but I do think the second one is just the first one's shadow.

in my opinion this is a young one. You can still see some tan in her breast or collar
