I have not been able to get the cam this morning either and it's getting close, but I did watch and listen (with my earphones) last night and did not hear any peeping. It was fairly quiet,(you know, except for the sirens) so I think that I might have.

Hi,

We have been watching the Vauxhall peregrines for about 4 weeks now. They are sitting on 4 eggs - or at least they were until yesterday. Today the webcam seems to have been blacked out - does anyone out there know if this has been deliberate or maybe there is a fault?

Is anyone still able to see live pictures from the site?

:grwelcom P and J to BCAW!

Several folks have had trouble with the cam today and I did noticed that Kitten
posted a capture from early this am. Lets hope it can be fixed before the little
ones come.

Let us know if you have any questions P & J...

Welcome to BCAW, P & J! :grwelcom

I have tried to get this cam a number of times today & haven't been successful. Just figured there were too many people on. I guess ljames is right & we'll have to wait for the people in Great Britain to go to bed in order to see the cam!

Well, the people in Great Britain are probably waking up now & I still can't get the cam--very frustrating!

Guess one of their exits from the box is right by the cam. Quick break & then she was back...

Daddy is with the chicks for a short while, then Mom comes back to feed. But I gotta say, getting to it was a problem. She entered in front, then drug the prey over the chicks to feed from this side. I only saw one eating, but pretty sure there are two.

Saw a feeding & there is only 1 chick. I wonder how experienced these parents are--I suspect not very. First pic shows dad with chick while mom is out preparing food. Dad pecked chick a number of times when chick seemed to start to fall asleep & would jerk itself up when dad pecked it.

Second pic is mom returning with food. She starts trying to feed on one side of the chick, then decides to move to the other side, dragging the prey across the chick!

Third pic is self-explanatory.

Did you see that? She was holding the prey wing in her mouth chirping, then pulled it under there, placed it on top of the chicks, then sat back down. No clue what that is about. I wonder if this is her first chicks? I'll have to read the history again, can't remember.

Yeah, I saw all that catwoman, made me nervous.
