Thank you Zweirsje for those great videos. :thankyou

Boy, they really have to tuck everything in to get around the sides of the box it looks like

And when the prey was brought in, he's like, I've got it Mom, I've got it. And that little one peeking out from inside the box to see what's happening.

Oh my word, my heart started racing when I saw him in the wind. He was like a kite, except no string to pull him back. :o

Thanks.

Fantastic video! Those winds up there really give them lift that you don't see in other places. Very cool!

I just watched the videos and slidehows, so enjoyable. The eating, playing, flying etc, very interesting. And the one little juvie that had the tiny looking prey while another had one as big as he was. Too funny. And at the very end of the one video, I sure was surprised when that one took off. They always pose so well on that ledge, such handsome guys. Thank you all so much.
:bravo :thankyou

thanks so much for videos and photos. :loveshow: :loveshow:

I will never forget this cam. It brought a world together and now look at S2

Look at the kids she raises. I wonder where Hope and Faith are now. too bad they were not banded, so we could know

.well ,of course, Pa gets a lot of the credit also.

Never could get the 2nd juvie to show much more than his beak and now I must go to bed, but I did see the one toss up a pellet (right there at his feet) and it was pretty dramatic.

Unknown Falcon at the Tower:
Yesterday Gerrit(E) and Peet, both members of the Dutch forum, were at the tower and Gerrit took a picture of a Falcon that they first thought to be S2. But it appeared to be a stranger.
Tell me what you see on the band on the left leg?
Gerrit also did a video: video right at the top of the page. They saw only two (adult) Falcons during their visit.
I've already contacted Peter van Geneijgen, chairman of WSN, the Dutch PF organisation. And I send an email to Hans Martin Gäng, because Peter stated that this is a Falcon from Germany. (And we know that S2 is from Belgium).

What a mystery! I couldn't see a band, but please let us know if anyone solves this mystery!

Enhanced cutout of the picture of the new falcon: Image
Today's report from the tower, by Dorine , states that Pa is still there but no sign of S2, instead this new falcon is bowing and cacking and Pa is stunt-flying in front of the tower . . . . .
Hans-Martin is sending the picture and video to somebody who might have some answers for us.

Wow, this comes as quite a shock, the (possible) end of the reign of S2 ? ? ? :-( Hanny has some video and pictures of two falcons at the box, from earlier today.

The cams of Natuurkanaal are still live, this link will open your Windows Mediaplayer: mms://88.159.107.56/torencam (copy and paste it)
And one looking at the nestbox: mms://88.159.107.56/slechtvalken-de-mortel
