Oh and I forgot to say, for the camera I think unfortunately there's water infiltration ... We found out after installing this cam that it was an outdoor cam BUT needed to avoid direct contact with rain/snow....!!! At least the other camera is ok for now !! I will try to clean it when we go up there for banding (which should be on May 28th - we'll try to have a live broadcast) but I don't know if it will do any good...!

Great to hear from you...and your observations/conclusions about Polly really seem to fit...but you said you haven't seen her since Tuesday? Gosh...do you think she's still around?

The chicks are really growing and it looks like they really are developing their personalities...better put my thinking cap on with regard to names...

Now about this cam...I find it rather funny that its an outdoor cam (?) yet it can't be in contact with rain/snow? well, duh...aren't those requirements for an indoor cam? :lol:

By viewing the older video's with Polly in 2010 it seems understandable Polly thought the little one was a prey.

25 februari: Polly

27 februari: Polly, Spirit en Roger - Cam 1
27 februari: Polly, Spirit en Roger - Cam 2

1 maart: Polly, Roger en Spirit in de kast

4 maart: 3 valken in de kast

8 maart: Roger geeft prooi an Spirit, Polly staat te schreeuwen

10 maart: In de nestkast krijgt Polly een prooi van Roger

13 maart: Roger

17 maart: Roger, Spirit en Polly

adriaantje, what a cute video of the one exploring the nest. It was so funny that the other one didn't want to come out from underneath Spirit, then when the "explorer" was done, it pushed its way under her too. Soooo cute!

Not seen Polly still since last Tuesday - but I'm not worried about her. I'm sure she's OK or she would be here begging to her parents...!! I would be surprised if she was far, I think we'll see her again in the next weeks.

I think we have two little males here, but it's only a guess, what's yours ?
