they wre really quite relaxed after the first hour yesterday , Carly. they seemed so content. and were wing flapping to bet the band today. But I am sure they will be glad to get back home.

I know some had doubts anyway, but this really does work 90 percent of the time.

George said he had a blast feeding them. He said they wre loud and noisy. too bad they were not like that all day.
He did not answer the question of : WERe there any adults around, so I asked again.

They're liable to start thinking of George as their mom! I can imagine it was a blast feeding them.

they were going to try and block them but I do not know if they did. I will ask Gord.

I am thinking they will go back to Breeders, because we have no other sites where chicks are that old. I will know that tomorrow also. they are very nice looking chicks though. they had a very good start, so it would have been perfect.

Just checked in on the chicks and see they are still alone. I'm really sorry that this doesn't appear to be working out and sorry for them. :-(

Well it breaks my heart , but he chicks are fine. It was smart to put 3 in together and ones that are older. They are content and will be taken out tomorrow. Gord wanted to give this pair every chance possible but no tat expense of the chicks.
I will continue to monitor til chicks are removed.

A big thanks to all of you helped monitor this site. It is much appreciated. :girlluv: :girlluv:

I keep saying ,it takes a global world to raise a falcon family.

Peter and I will continue to go out occasionally and see what the adults are doing.

We still have this morning to see if an adult will come around, and if one doesn't, I'm still glad they tried this experiment. The biologists (and we) have learned something valuable.

I'm glad they tried it too...and I know we can't tell a whole lot from the cam, but they really didn't look too stressed out...and it gave them the chance of seeing a different part of the world...

Like you said, Susan...they still have this morning...who knows what can happen...I'm not gonna be around much today, but will keep the cam up when I can..
