How funny is that...mine isn't...ahhhhhhhhhh...now it just started...guess the signal took longer to get to GA..

I'm still hoping that a parent will show up to adopt the chicks before Gord arrives this morning! But if not, it's good to know that the chicks had each other, were well taken care of, and were able to experience the world from a different vantage point. I think they enjoyed their time in the nest box here!

Even though I have been tied to the computer for 2 days , I have enjoyed these guys.

It will be a little cool till sun comes out.

When you see their eyes, you just want to give them a hug

I am just so shocked that there was not even one move to come here by parents. Well that first brief stop, but none after that

I hope to get some answers soon. Peter an d I may drive out there on Sat. We will see.

Gord is wondering if they have another nest also. So he is going to try and observe today, their where abouts.

Because it is a secure site ,it is harder for Peter and I.But we will do our best.

Gord will be there around 11 Am and so the chicks and so by the time he gets going, and would say between 11 and 12 , the chicks will be removed.

It is 10:30 Edmonton time now, which is the same as Genesse time

As sad as I am today , that this did not work, I am so happy we have Gordon.

We cannot control nature but he sure tries to give it a helping hand. We need so many more like him. He has to make tough calls sometimes but I know if he says no, then it just cannot be done.
He just tells me, do not get too attached to any one bird. Just help it becasue you can. adn I am getting much better at this .

I do know we have a great many like him. We have witnessed these generous souls souls in action this year.

If I sound corny, I am sorry. Just tired I guess.

Now I am assuming the chicks are going back to breeders. We have no nests that I know of that thye can be fostered in. Our chicks are all to young.

I will wait a day before I ask Gord a lot of questions, as I know he has a lot to do.
