Looks like the little one is calling for food.

It appeared that the mom was feeding, but back to the cam during.

Was watching our site today this afternoon an at the time of these shots it is when the sun is the hottest over here. I'm actually higher elevation then this nest an if the wind is right they should be getting a breeze off of Lake Ontario. But with these shots everybody is panting even the shot with Madame X as she tried to block the sun off the little one. Eventually the larger chicks made their way to the shade even near the weed. To me it's looking like the same as last year with 3 girls an one male. Time will tell. As for tomorrow it's suppose to get even hotter then today.

Oh my, they will be hot tomorrow. So funny seeing them moving down toward the weed. Hey if it affords them some shade, then I'm all for it! :thumbegg:

Hi Susan: Well today it's just after 1pm an it's hotter then yesterday as of now we're approaching the hottest time of day and the sun it's right above us and poor old Madame X must be getting tired of just panting and moving in circles trying to provide shade too. we're in the 80s here now but again it's the humidity which knocks you for a loop so actually feels like in the 90s. We're suppose to have this weather all of next week too.

Will be hot on the feet too as that ledge is metal. So everybody seek shade.

What a cute shot, Moose. Looks like the other two are leaning up against the ledge in the thin line of shade.

We're getting a break in weather today as tis 20 degrees cooler. Madame X Surge an all the young ones will be happy for this change in weather. Lets see tomorrow how the young react to this new experience called rain as that's what's called for starting late tonight. Utterly amazing just how quick all these little ones will grow in front of our eyes.
Thoroughly enjoying all sites all around the world here reading all the stories of each family and wanted to say how I as others appreciated all which is given to us here.
I call this "PeekaBoo" on both sides of the weed Madame X and the oldest are playing. This girl will be quite a character I'm sure.

Thanks again all. :waveht:
