Yes, I definitely think it's the 5th chick up there on the ledge. All the other chicks in the nest box seem mesmerized by what's going on up on there.

I think I have video of him flapping and the other kids looking at him. You can't see him clearly but you definitely see that someone is flapping up there! I also have video where he jumps back in but he's in the back area.

OMG - I think one of the chicks just jumped up on the ledge again! He/she was looking up and then just disappeared in a flash.

Thanks for the picture, Reenie. I think the chick jumped about a minute or so after you took it.

Right now, it looks as if another one is trying to get up its nerve to try the ledge also. It's been flapping away quite a bit.

poo! I'M ONLY SEEING 2 NOW! GEEZE! I'M STARTING TO WONDER IF THE BOX IS TOO HOT FOR THEM AND THAT'S WHY THEY ARE VENTURING OUT EARLY?

Holy Smokes!!! They are getting out on the ledge!! I thought I saw movement out there when I was on here earlier, but thought maybe it was a feather? Is that real danger? Will they have good footing? I am full of questions now! They aren't even Banded yet! Said a prayer at dinner for their safety.
