Thanks SO much Reenie for posting my pictures. I definitely must get a "new" camera. But you did a GREAT JOB of posting. Great seeing them as they looked very active the whole time I was there. I stayed for an hour. Nice to see them all back in the nest for a Good nights rest. Awe, they are cuddled in a pile sleeping. So sweet!

Thanks to ALL for the great posts and pictures today. Not sure how much I'll get to watch tomorrow, as I have a feeling the little one in Harrisburg is going to wing it SOON. Got an emergency call around 3:30 this afternoon asking if I could come down, so quickly got it together and left. Lucky you Faith for getting to see CJ and Red Girl's chicks for real. Ditto to you, Kim.

If it has to be left that chicks will only be banded if they come to ground, who will band them? I ask that because Craig is a good distance away.

Also glad to see everybody inside for tonight. They seem to be enjoying each other's company, which makes me feel sorry for our solo little guy in Harrisburg. :sad:

Its a relief to hear that it was Red Girl who went running to the front in your video, Kim! I would worry even more if that was one of the chicks feeling that confident up there.

Thanks for all the great pics, videos and coverage...I tried to get back to the cam later this afternoon as I figured the kids would start getting ready for bed, but never made it... Faith, I'm so glad you got to see them from the outside...and I love the lip and AstroTurf!!! Comfy and safe!!!

They are just so funny at that age...flapping and pouncing!!! :smile:

Craig wasn't able to rearrange his schedule so if banding is going to happen, it won't be until Friday morning. He was wishing he could do it last night but unfortunately there's no way to get to them at night.

If any of them end up grounded, they usually end up taking a trip to Tri-State to get checked out before being released. They would also get banded before being released if they weren't already.

I'll bet they can't wait to get up on that ledge again!
Now all five are in back and one was just flapping.

Good morning Kim. I see that all the kids are still "at home," and a couple are starting to flap and look up towards the ledge.

P.S. Thanks for the heads up about Craig not coming until tomorrow morning!

The natives are restless! There's a whole lot of flapping going on now, and I think one chick is already up on the ledge.

OK! They are the "Early Birds"! But most birds are aren't they?!!!! Hope for tomorrow. Thanks Kim for the report on Craig. Thanks for all other reporting. I only see three in the box right now. Going to have breakfast on the veranda I guess!! LOL Now two!
