THEY BOYS ARE FIESTY THIS MORNING, LOL! KIM IS DOWNTOWN, SO FAR, THIS IS WHAT SHE'S SEEING.....

WB GOT BREAKFAST A LITTLE BEFORE 6AM AND RB WAS SCREAMING FOR HIS. THEN WB WAS CRYING TOO, LIKE MAYBE HE'S WAITING TO BE FED OR HE DIDN'T LIKE WHATEVER CJ BROUGHT, LOL!

THEN RG LANDED NEXT TO WB TO SEE WHAT HIS PROBLEM WAS, BUT SHE WASN'T FEEDING HIM. SHE SEEMS TO BE LOOKING FOR THE FOOD HE HAD. HE MUST HAVE DROPPED IT. CJ WAS EITHER AFTER A BIRD OR GETTING AWAY FROM SCREAMING RB. CJ CAME BACK EMPTY TALONED AND NOW RB KEEPS CHASING HIM DOWN THE LEDGE. THEY ARE ON THE BRANDYWINE BLDG. WHITE BOY AND RG ARE ON NEMOURS. RB THEN FLEW TO NEMOURS TO JOIN WB AND THEN HE JUMPED ON WB OVER THERE, LOL!

OK, THERE MUST HAVE BEEN FOOD BECAUSE HE'S EATING SOMETHING.

WILL KEEP YOU POSTED :-)

LOVE HEARING ABOUT THE BOYS :-)

A BIG thanks Reenie for that relay from Kim. Boy. that sounds SO good to hear about there antics and how well they are doing! Nice to read all the comments and I agree about the Neg. comment being so rather nasty about being on the parking lot. Was not necessary.

Now another side to my Biologist friend. She has Her own Pet Sitting Business now and takes care of many sites where Ferals live. She has a VERY hard time giving any animal up , henceforth a house full of cats.!!! Last week She buried a kitty behind our Shop that was killed near the Shop. She left the Zoo because of "things" they were doing that She did not approve of.!!! So you see ,She has Two sides. The "real one" and then the Professional!

Kudos to Kim for checking in on the boys this morning and to Reenie for posting the updates. Of course I can envision where they're at, and glad to hear they're doing well. Susan, the candle you posted is so thoughtful and very touching.

I am glad the boys are feisty and well/

Our red banded males always knocked Radisson off her perch and then when she had enough she tuned them in.  Every one tells me not to put a red band on our males as they are too mischievous. :sunno: :sunno:

Great job Kim and Reenie for relaying to us.

I've already read the article and looked at the pictures. I'm sure the bottom picture is No Band, and likely Green Girl in the towel. SO UPSETTING to see after watching Red Girl and CJ devoting all their time and energy to their family. It was touching, however, to read about that really little one and how it has made such great progress. And VERY upsetting to read about kids harrassing the one that fell from the bridge nest. Why don't parents teach their kids more about respect for nature?

Jane, I totally agree about the kids and no parental teaching. It's one of the things that irks me the most about things. That and the lack of respect on many levels. I am just glad that the grounded bird was rescued and is going to be fine. I will add that I agree with sending it to a hack site as it is a prime example of one that probably should be removed from it's home area to a safer place.

That was a Good article, but like I've said before it still brings Me to tears to think they were taken. Call Me what you want, but that is how I am. I get attached to all Nature, but especially when you watch eggs being laid, raised by two wonderful parents (who by the way, wouldn't abandon them), and then fed to the health that they were. I can't get over this. Sorry!

Then on the other side of the coin, the torturing of the Falcon, I get furious. My what kind of young people are some raising? Just like the account of the boy's that burned the kitten near here. Sorry, that is way off topic, but they are hoodlums!! I'd better get dinner and "cool" off!

nice article but i will not change my opinion that they erred with the falocns from Wilmington. they were not candidates for hacking.
But I think you are tired of hearing me say that so I am jsut going to stew in private.

AS far as the way kids treat nature etc. I have found over the years that although there are some really good kids, there is an overall lack of respect for anything, including themselves. And I have opinions why but that I will keep to myself.
