While I went to change my clothes, she disappeared. I suspect she got into the nestbox. I don't know whether its better to have the cam left positioned as it is, or to ask that it be turned back on the nestbox. What does everyone else think? :suncon:

I just want to mention that some time ago, I saw her laying down in the nestbox. Well, it would have been when we had the view into the nestbox, so that was some time ago. I was a bit concerned about that, but maybe she just felt comfortable in that position.

I see you all have it covered...I think I got most of the same pics but the first time I've had to post..She was preening for a long time in front of the cam, and then as you saw, went and laid down...left, came back, laid down some more..then left...then a pigeon arrived...I've had the recorder on the came since around 4:30...

I hope these aren't duplicates..

Its too dark to see anything now & she didn't reappear, so I'm sure she's in her nestbox. I imagine there will be many of us chomping at the bit to see her tomorrow. Geez, I hope she's OK. If there really seems to be a problem, I'll contact Juanita, but I don't want to worry more people unless we're sure there's something wrong...

SGB, glad you had your recorder on. Maybe you can do it tomorrow until somebody sees her. She usually isn't necessarily around until late in the day.

I'll keep the cam up tomorrow...I think she's ok...but we need to remember that she is 16 years old...the fact that I had her coming and going 3 times...or within cam view makes me think she's ok....but, we'll see...its really hard to tell with a refresh cam...

Thanks, SGB! Yes, I think (& hope) you're right & that she is OK. Since she was hacked in 1994, that would make her 17 this year. Roosevelt is/was 16.

Don't see anything on the cam right now except a nice sunrise.

I'm glad you saw her and she's okay. Wish there was someone there who could check on her in person, obviously something is going on or has gone on, especially with Roosevelt missing. It's sad that no one seems to have even noticed but those of us online.

I was thinking exactly that also these are 2 very well know and loved falcons you would think someone other than us would have noticed by now and if there is something that has happened in would be nice to know I know people are busy but just a short note would be nice.
I'm sorry if I sound mad or mean I just would like to know

kitten, you do not sound mad or mean. You sound like you care. The world could use a whole wad more of that.

Thanks, Arles! Glad to see that she doesn't have a problem with her nestbox. I've suspected all alone that when she disappears in the evening, she has simply gone into her nestbox to sleep for the night.
