It makes me nervous too when the chicks start sleeping on the outside of the orange pole every year. Let's hope Lil Dad was able to get his attention and got him to come to the scrape.

Reenie, I finally had a chance to watch your videos and see your up-close pics of LO. So, cute and funny. He is one pampered boy . . . as well he should be. :sunsmile:

LO is really exploring this morning. He's behind the scrape wall right now in case someone tunes in and can't find him! :sunno:

LIL DAD BRINGS FOOD AND GIVES TO LIL ONE AND NG COMES AND FEEDS LIL ONE. I HAVE TO GO GET AND PLANT FLOWERS NOW. BB LATER.

Well, I guess LO is still behind the shield, as there's no sign of him anywhere. Lil Dad is preening on the stick. And the sun is out!! It's to get to near 80 degrees today.

Can see LO's head there at the back door. And would much rather him being near the orange pole than over around the column. Not sure if the adults have brought food over there to the other side of the column this year or not. Must get busy now. Hope the cam isn't going kaflooey, as the blue bar is running across the bottom of the screen right now.

I was scared when I checked in today. Then I saw a little head at the back door. I agree about the column. Not much space there. Just can't worry, takes too much energy. LOL

Must go and buy my annuals and plant today. Busy day as now the Sun is OUT!

Nice to see that LO is out eggsploring his surroundings and has dined. Due to the good weather, i made an excursion to the Franklin Institute to get shots of the hawks and they were not a disappointment. Scanned down the BFP towards city hall and did not see the peregrines out and about though. But when youre batting .500 you cant complain too much

He's been running, hopping and skipping up and down the ledge for a while now, oh and screaming too. Now standing in the shadow of the orange post. That brings back lots of memories.

What a cute moment of Lil' Dad passing off the prey to LO and him taking off with it, of course NG has to come in and take charge of the situation. :wink:

NG on the stick at 1108 and LO is whining away down by the orange pole. Guess hes barking out an order for lunch ?

NG is looking in and attacking the window.

I think she was in the scrape attacking that camera too, but hard to see. She ran down the ledge to check on LO and then flew to the camera, getting LO all stirred up.

Well, there hasn't been any reason to look for shade for most of the week. Funny how the young ones always find refuge behind the orange pole. And LO was WAY over at the column when Lil Dad brought in that prey earlier. Had to watch that video a couple times.

LIL DAD HAS BEEN THERE WITH LIL ONE. LIL DAD MUST HAVE SEEN NG AND JUMPED DOWN IN THE SCRAPE FROM THE SHIELD. LIL ONE WAS CRYING SOME AND THEN LAID DOWN BEHIND THE STICK. THEN HE GOT UP AND WENT RUNNING DOWN THE LEDGE TO THE POINT AND DISAPPEARED BEHIND THE ORANGE POLE :-(

HE MUST BE SITTING ON THE POINT NOW. HE IS SOOOO MUCH DARKER TODAY!!
