Hello Everyone! I went downtown on Sunday toting my camera and binocs at around 4:00 - they must have been hiding because I walked all over the statehouse block and down toward the river behind the Rife Center and did not see them at all - I know that I heard calling but for all I know it could have been the silly recording or perhaps I just did not see them - they can be very elusive.

Thank you one and all for the great pictures - Durand and Matrix sure are dedicated to this site!

I too saw Durand in the box and on the ledge several times today, but never saw Matrix.

This was an odd shot

I was downtown for a short while, on my way home after my choir practice - I arrived at around 5:45 and went right across the street to the statehouse steps - I found who I think was Matrix on the far right hand ledge all the way next to the wall of the building just sitting. There was no sign of Durand until about 5 minutes later, she was just there on the ledge - perhaps she came from the back of the ledge or the nest box. I changed my sights to Matrix again and poof she was gone again. It was getting late and Matrix was still on the far right hand ledge - one over from the nest box ledge - I had to get home so I could not watch any longer. At least I was able to see both of them before I had to leave.
