My goodness they are growing. A Big Thanks to all that posted pictures. I appreciate ALL as I don't get involved with that.
As far as the articles go.. My Sister-in-law told me last night about the good article on ABC News about the Wilmington nest. She thought too that they looked like little cotton balls. Now of course they have grown so much already.
Interesting how the Media hears about this. Of course to all of us Falcon Nut's, why not? It's the best Story in Town!!!

It's a good thing about warmer weather coming. Mother Nature is SO smart! LOL
They can't cover all too long.

Wow! The meals run into each other allmost. Busy parents. Working off the pent up energy they built up sitting on the eggs. LOL

Is there anything more cute than that pile of little white round heads? Not in my book!

Nancy, remember the picture of three of the girls lined up on the end of the ledge, all in a row looking the same way. 2008 I think. From Reenie of course. We will get pictures from here like that. I'm sure Kim will have GEMS. As well as everyone else.

Your avatar reminded me of that picture.

Yes, there were some good pictures in 2008. That was the last really good year for the kids returning to the ledge after they fledged. After that, the U Building was there & the kids seemed to prefer perching there.

Mourning dove, black-billed cuckoo, blue jay. Unfortunately someone dropped the now headless cuckoo. Oh well, more meat on the dove and jay anyway.

Those birds were history when CJ flew up a half hour ago (2:53 EDT) keening heeeee, heeeee, heeeee and carrying prey. When he got to the box ledge there was a chorus of ee-chups, Red Girl emerged and flew away with the groceries while CJ stayed on the box ledge where he could watch the young without being next to them. I left and maybe Red Girl returned promptly to feed the brood as noted immediately above.

Thanks Greg for the meal menu and thanks ljames for great pictures.

My goodness that pile has grown. No wonder with all the good food.

Thanks for the menu report, Greg! They're eating again at 4:45--everybody up! Well, except one who was leaning on the one in front of him, then that one moved, & this one fell over. But he's right back up & has an open beak! :flirty:

CJ just arrived with another food delivery! He handed it over to Red Girl, and she flew out to get it ready to serve.

These chicks will be huge in no time, considering all the meals they're being served!

Nice picture. This was exactly the routine I watched from the parking garage roof 2 1/2 hours earlier. It looks like CJ's usually already plucked the prey some when he brings it in, but Red Girl has her own standards about what's ready to serve.

That would be "turn about is fair play"! Red Girl & her sisters were really a handful for her parents--especially her! :egg6:

REMINDS ME OF MY MOM WHEN I WAS YOUNG, SHE WOULD SAY, I HOPE YOUR KIDS ACT JUST LIKE YOU! :egg11: OF COURSE SHE WAS SAYING IT TO MY BROTHER, NOT ME :egg13:
