In Rimouski the young female, named Alex (sounds like a male name to me but it's definitely a female...!), fledged today. She flew two times, the first time she ended up in the trees not far from the nest, and the second time she was able to fly back on a safe ledge.

WOW....I wonder if Bert returned to the nest by himself or if somebody put him back....so glad he is present and accounted for...thanks Alison..

I never even saw Red Deer outside the box. Saw them standing in the doorway, but not out on the platform or anything. Surely they would spend some time out there first, before fledging, but I haven't seen them.

I know for certain that the parent and both juvies are in the box, but I can't see it on the inside cam. Maybe it is stuck.
