I have the same video but right from mom leaving to get food, doing the motions of feeding the first hatch but it never got a single bite. I hope she figures it out quickly. :egg15: :egg16:

That was hard to watch the poor little baby not getting fed and the female being so clumsy, walking all over the kids and plopping the prey on top of them . . . at least that's the way it looked. Maybe these are her first chicks.

I'm gonna have to come back later after I've had a drink to watch that video. saw that one little chick falling all over back there but after many attempts I think one got some bites. I don't think that she's ever done this before for sure. :nailbite:
