Dad just brought food and one came flapping from behind the column, and Dad flew to the cam perch. Juvie took prey behind the shield. Must not have been much, he soon came back without the food. Maybe he'll stand guard there so the other one doesn't get his food. I guess one could say he was trying to hide it now with his body. I think the other is now on the tiny ledge coming around the column. Drat! cam moved just as the second one lifted his wings, and now all I can see is a tail sticking from behind the shield. The second juvie is on the point under Dad's camera perch screaming. The first juvie left his prey and is flap/running down the ledge to the other one. Dad just sits there watching them.

Aha - they are both there just a squealing - they must have just awakened from their nap and decided it was meal time!!

One of the boys is laying next to the post while the other one seems to be trying to get him up - I sure hope the one that is lying down is OK

He is. He's trying to nap and the other one laid right on him. Now it looks like one big bird laying there. :egg6:

The one by the scrape almost looks like Lil Dad sitting there in the shade. He was laying there but got up.

if these guys are only 39 days old, they may not go fro a few more days. I always figure the longer thye stay the better. More sing flapping to get those wings strong

Liked your picture back further and humor ljames. That one picture on the point looked like an aircraft. Hence that's where the airplane came from!
