Sue I got a lot of chuckles reading your write up. NOOOOOOOOOOO I was in the kitchen & Missed him, was it recorded? was it seen on cam ???

15:22 IN THE VIDEO IS RED'S FLEDGE. 15:47 YOU CAN SEE RED BOY OVER BY THE UNIVERSITY AFTER HE TRIES 333 AT FIRST. THEN YOU CAN SEE HIM HEADING BACK TOWARDS OUR BLDG. FROM THERE HE ENDED UP AT OUR BLDG I BELIEVE BEHIND THE AUDITORIUM.

AS YOU PROBABLY SEE BY NOW, I CHANGED RED BOY TO BLUE BOY. SUE AND JANE THOUGHT IT WAS RED WHO FLEDGED, BUT IT'S DEFINATELY BLUE BOY. HE FLEW OVER THE ROOF OF THE UNIV. TRIED FOR 333 AND ONLY MADE IT TO ABOUT 17TH FLOOR, HIT THE BLDG AND DROPPED SOME, TRIED THE UNIV AGAIN AND MISSED, AND CAME BACK OVER TO OUR BLDG AROUND 12TH FLOOR, CIRCLED THE LAWN ACROSS THE STREET WENT BACK OVER TO OUR BLDG AND HIT THE WALL AND DROPPED DOWN ON THE AUDITORIUM ROOF. THAT'S WHERE HE IS NOW.

RED BOY IS ON THE STICK WITH NO LEDGE UNDER HIM RIGHT NOW.

WELL NOW, RED HEADED FOR THE COLUMN, VIEW SWITCHED AND HE'S GONE. HOPING HE WENT AROUND THE COLUMN AND IS STILL OVER THERE, COULDN'T GET SUE ON THE PHONE.

OK, LIL DAD JUST BROUGHT RED FOOD, SO HE SHOULD STAY PUT FOR A WHILE :-)

When I was watching yesterday I heard a falcon echumping but the camera had switched and it's voice was different than Lil Dads but I didn't think to much about it.

IN THE VIDEO, IT LOOKS TO ME LIKE THAT FEMALE LANDED RIGHT BESIDE ONE OF THE BOYS ON THE END OF THE LEDGE! SHE DIDN'T STAY LONG.

Couldn't see for the orange pole but if you listen around 5:05 when it all started you can hear her and it didn't sound like dad to me. Your a better judge on that Reenie.

That's on the video on page 17. Also when she took off and flew toward the Uni. that falcon looked a lot bigger than dad I thought I saw it earlier but thought it was dad. when it went around the building across the street. Not knowing at that time there was another falcon in the area.

Exactly what I was thinking. Nature will be what it is whether or not we are ready for it, but whatever is best for Lil Dad and the boys is all that matters right now. I enjoyed all the reports and pictures from today and was watching when I could.

I'm looking forward to any pictures of the new female and to find out if she stays around. Thanks to all the watchers out there looking out for the boys and their first flights! I appreciate you all doing what you do!

More likely what she will do is steal the food Lil Dad brings for the boys. Remember at De Mortel when S2 first showed up, that's what happened & one of the chicks perished because of it. It wasn't until later that she helped Pa. On the other hand, I don't think she would hurt the chicks. I hope that she won't try to be a presence around the ledge until the boys are on their own.

Hope Lil Dad found Blue and took him something to eat too. This is so exciting to wake up too. Unfortunately this is store day and I will be gone a while. I'm sure I'll have a lot of catching up to do when I get home. Happy watching to all and good luck on the ground everyone.

WELL LIL DAD HAS HIS HANDS FULL NOW. BLUE FLEDGED AND RED STILL ON THE LEDGE. MAYBE THIS IS WHY HE'S SEEKING A FEMALE FOR HELP. SHE BETTER NOT STEAL THEIR FOOD! I TOO HOPE THE BOYS ARE FLYING AND DOING WELL BEFORE SHE DECIDES TO COME BACK. MAYBE THE FACT THAT LIL DAD HAS TWO KIDS, SHE'LL STAY AWAY NOW!

I didn't really explain about the food stealing. What S2 thought was that Pa was bringing the food as gifts for her, so she took them. It still amounted to the same thing--there was that much less food for the chicks & it put extra stress on Pa to try to feed them. :egg15:

I figured Red was trying to get Lil Dad to feed him & that's why he dragged the prey all the way down the ledge to him. :egg11:
