Lil Dad on the stick and one eyass too is over that part of the ledge nearer the scrape. Other eyas is way out on the front porch er far side of the ledge looking down at 735pm

I keep checking in here in hopes of reading good news of NG. . I've even got several hours of recording in hopes I could spot her. . .but, no . . :cryinggirl:

It has been so bittersweet to watch the kids playing .. and to watch Lil Dad being the spectacular dad he always is. I'm still holding out hope for NG that somehow she can recover and regain her strength. .If I read correctly, she was seen this morning. . but, there is no telling how long she has been dealing with all of this. .I just pray she is not in pain.

This family is so lucky to have the likes of Jane and Reenie and WWC and other HBG residents that love them. . Hugs to all of you. . sure wish I could do more than just stare at and record a cam. .

Lorgayle it is really great to see you again .. its been forever, I think!!!

Well I am gone for the night. My heart goes out to everyone. I know all who watch these two can't help but be hurting. It wasn't so long ago that I had given up on poor Lil' Dad after that new falcon came around, so maybe there is hope.

Reenie, the news that the Falconer told you, hit me hard! It says a lot without saying anything. I didn't see the video from this morning. Where is it? I'm having trouble thinking about anything else.

I just thought of something. Archer, the male in Rochester, was injured a few weeks ago. After initially going to the nestbox, he then stayed away from it & laid low. The watchers had trouble finding him because he was laying low. General consensus was that he was trying to keep a low profile since he would have trouble fending off predators & wandering tiercels. Maybe a falcon in a falconer's environment wouldn't hide because they don't have to worry about their safety, but a falcon in the wild does have to worry about their safety. (And by the way, his mate was taking him food.)
