For a moment I got the impression there was a second falcon in the box. A color band on the left leg, I think it is Black over Red. Tried hard to decipher the code but I'm not sure of what it can be.
A B in the red perhaps???

The drawback I see here is that we're not going to be able to see the eggs & the newborn chicks.

Peregrine Falcons in Georgia

In past years, our web cam has shown a nest on the 51st-floor balcony of a downtown Atlanta office building. Because of the need for equipment upgrades, the camera has been disabled for 2011. Our hope is to re-establish the behind-the-scenes look at Georgia’s highest-flying falcons in 2012.

The nesting falcons and the web cam have been generously hosted by the law firm of McKenna, Long & Aldridge, which occupies the top floors of the building. The nest is located in a large planter box containing small bushes. The planter makes an ideal nest site because it provides a soft substrate, offers some protection from the elements and is too high up for any natural predators. Peregrine falcons typically mate for life.
