This is kind of late, but needed to eat, do a few quick things outside, watch the cam a little, and read the posts. Got downtown around 2:45. NG was on the window ledge right around the corner from the nest ledge, but then moved to two other ledges in front of the building. Lil Dad was on the stick. I actually wrote down times of what happened, as I wondered how long NG would stay in each spot. She was over on the ledge of the U Building for about half an hour. Around 3:30 she was on the camera above the scrape. During this time Lil Dad took off toward the river, and I'm wondering if he returned with prey, as I missed him coming back due to a stop at the Amtrak Station. Saw him fly off the ledge when I came out of the station. Went up the garage roof to look around, and then spotted Reenie and her sister out in front of the Carson Building. They left around 4:30, and that's when Lil Dad flew over to the steeple. He wasn't there long, took off, and two minutes later he returned with prey that he took to the point. I could see the feathers flying. NG sat on the cam and watched all of this. Finally Lil Dad went back further on the ledge, and I assumed he was feeding the chicks. At 4:45 NG flew off the camera, circled around, and landed on the ledge. I waited to see if she would fly off the ledge with the food, but she didn't. Walked over to look at the monitor in the Education Office, and was certain it was NG doing the feeding. Walked across the street, and saw Lil Dad on his camera perch, and was SO happy she was doing the feeding. Was about ready to leave at 5:15 when a nice couple arrived and asked me if I happened to know where the falcon nest ledge was. Well, I shared a lot of information with them. They were very interested in all of it. Also gave them the web site to this forum, so hope they'll be able to log on. Was delighted to see NG on the stick before I started this. Lil Dad had been on the shield, but he left before I started this way too long message. Sorry, but I wanted to share what I observed this afternoon.
